On Sat Nov 3rd at the Plymouth Guildhall ,Taurus Promotions
hosted another great night of Thai and Kickboxing !
A huge crowd got to see 12 great fights .
The Taurus team had 3 fighters on the bill Ollie, Rob and Ryan .
Ollie Luke made a great debut ,winning all three rounds and giving his opponent
(Alex Nicholls/St Clear) a standing 8 count in the second . For his first
fight he showed maturity beyond his years . Well done ! Win pts

Olly Luke
Next up was hard hitting and recently crowned English champion Rob Hingston
. After a late change of opponent Rob faced Luke Green of Weston Warriors
. This meant giving away nearly 4 kgs but Luke was the less experienced fighter
. Tactically it wasn't Rob's best performance but his power got him out of
trouble giving his opponent a standing 8 in the 2nd and knocking him out in
the 3rd . Good show on a tough night mate ! Win KO rnd 3

Rob Hingston
Last up for Taurus was Ryan Millar v Gordon Childs in a match that to be honest
everyone expected Ryan to win . However Childs had different ideas and came
well prepared and his spoiling tactics frustrated a below par Millar for much
of the fight . Millar seemed to get his head into it a bit more in rnds 4
and 5 but it was too late and he lost a split decision . Most of the crowd
thought it was the fight of the night but us who know Ryan know he can and
i'm sure will do better next time .He has bounced back from losses to score
impressive wins before and i'm sure will do it again . Next time mate . Loss
(split decision)

Ryan Millar
Rob wins English title
On September 2nd 07 at the casino rooms in Rochester,Taurus fighter Rob Hingston

Just got Ryan Millar matched on the same show as Rob's title
fight (Sept 2nd - see poster below) in a non title 5 rnd contest at middleweight
(get off those pies Ryan!)
This is a really high profile show featuring 2 world champs fighting each
other , a REAL European title fight , Rob's English title challenge plus now
Ryan . An opportunity for both the Taurus top boys who are already ranked
2nd(Rob) and 5th(Ryan) in thier divisions to steal the show . SUNDAY 9.30

On May 13th 07, Taurus Promotions hosted another
prestigious International show at the Guildhall in Plymouth. The show was
another great success although there were mixed results for the Taurus lads
on this night:
Ryan Millar showed his class by dismantling Cage Rage star Chis 'the freak'
Freebourne and stopping him in the fourth rnd.
1st timer Aaron Jahn's nerves seemed to get the better of him and lost a close
decision .
Shock of the night was Rob Hingston losing his unbeaten record to Mike Nudd
by 5th rnd KO . Rob has come back more determined than ever though and with
1 win each now there will surely be a decider !
